Artist-designer Henry Mueller has worked as both an illustrator and as a fine artist. Mueller's work has spanned several media, including watercolor, colored pencil, ink, pastel, batik, photography, and mixed media; and now incorporates the computer as an extension of the artist's paint brush applied to a pixel canvas. Inspired by the visual patterns of color, texture, and harmony found in the natural environment, his work includes both abstracts of color and form as well as realistic, detailed landscapes.
Mueller's work has been exhibited at local galleries and art festivals throughout Colorado, and he has had one-man exhibitions at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder Arts & Crafts Cooperative, and Fiske Planetarium Gallery, University of Colorado. He recently received third best of show at the Boulder Art Association’s regional juried art show, " Visions of a New Millennium".
